Meet the Crew

ReelZUp is a charismatic fishing charter led by Max Sanchez, with his brother Julian Sanchez serving as deck hand, both local boys who grew up fishing the pristine waters of Los Barriles BCS.

Under the mentorship of Lucio Vargas, one of the East Cape’s most respected captains, Max and Julian have become one of the youngest and most promising fishing duos on the water.

Their deep roots in the community, passion for the ocean, and commitment to sustainable catch-and-release practices deliver an authentic, high-energy experience for anglers of all levels, whether chasing trophy marlin, sailfish, or a memorable day on the water.
